I have to spend 4 days at my friend's house in the East End just so that I can get to work. I count myself as one of the lucky ones, however, seeing as I <span style="font-style: italic;">can</span> work on those days. Friends I have talked to who work downtown have to use <span style="font-style: italic;">vacation </span>days in order to take off and will have to work overtime on weekends to earn those days back.
